In a remote region of Southern Africa a scientist Dr. Ann Taylor (Lena Farugia) and her pilot partner Dr. Stephen Marshall (Hans Strydom) are stranded. They encounter an African with a little experience with outsiders: Xixo (Nixau). Knowing that they won't survive without his help, he is willing to help them out even though his last experience with outsiders led to a lot of trouble for him. But first he must help out a group of children who have been abducted in a truck by a group of poachers. But Xixo comes from a tribe of loving and gentle people who will do anything to help others survive the brutal desert and difficult circumstances.
